Our 20-hour SAFE pre-licensing course is organized to review topics specifically outlined in the National Mortgage Loan Originator exam.
This course meets the federal mortgage training requirements found in the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and helps to prepare students for the National Mortgage Loan Originator exam. This package includes:

What You'll Learn: - Federal Mortgage-Related Laws, including RESPA, ECOA, TILA, The SAFE Act
- Mortgage Loan Origination Activities covering application and requirements, qualification (processing and underwriting), appraisals, title reports, specific program guidelines, closing, financial calculations
- Uniform State Content, including the federal SAFE Act and minimum licensing standards, required and prohibited conduct, and model state language for state-specific licensing regulations
- General Mortgage Knowledge including, mortgage programs, mortgage loan products, terms used in the mortgage market
- Ethics as it pertains to federal mortgage laws, appraisal practices, fraud, and ethical behavior
